PSI Proteam Solutions Inc is Hiring a Cognos Developer (C) Near Columbus, OH
Remote but prefer candidates to be local to Columbus, OH (Must work EST hours).
Must be Authorized to work in the United States without Sponsorship.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in Cognos development
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
- Experience with Cognos Analytics, Cognos Framework Manager, and Cognos Report Studio
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Experience in Azure, with Data Factory, Databricks, and Logic Apps
- Experience with PowerBI Desktop
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, with focus on Power Automate
- Experience in government contracting industry a plus
- Strong experience with Deltek Costpoint, including understanding of its data structures and table relationships
- Design, develop, and maintain Cognos reports, dashboards, and other business intelligence solutions using Deltek Costpoint as the data source
- Work closely with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract data from Deltek Costpoint
- Optimize the performance of Cognos reports and dashboards to ensure fast and reliable access to data
- Create and maintain documentation for all developed solutions
- Provide end-user support and training as needed
- Work collaboratively with other developers and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of business intelligence solutions
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices related to Cognos and Deltek Costpoint
